Women- The Wow Festival 2026 held

Wow Festival took place recently supp orted by British Council and produced by Sadhona and Nitoshilpi Foundation.

It was about the establishment of women  equity, right and women empowerment  portrayed through dance, art , podcast, exhibition and t shirt design workshop and women entrepreneurs participation through lifestyle product showcase, said a press release.

Conceptual dance  chareography and theatre performance was executed by world renound chareographer  from USA, Renold  Kewald.

It was a day long initiative and beside powerful dance performance amazing song from singer Shaon, glass house display by Jatra.

There was an in spiring workshop themed "Rise up Women " conducted by internationally recognized designer Farah Deeba, adjuct faculty Uttara University, along with IUBJC  students participation and Fcic Institute certification.

The t shirts designed at workshop will go for supporting Nepal disaster victims.

She expressed her gratitude  towards British Council and Sadhona for giving her the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful movement.

She executes design for empowerment workshop at different occasions.

Last time conducted in collaboration with Uttara Univeristy Fashion dept students along with exhibition and fashion show abroad of selected designs.

Also during football  match did collaboration with Leedo street children for the conduction of t shirt design workshop and flag dance flashmob.

She thanked Wow Fest and British Council for the giving her the support &  opportunity for collaboration with them through IUB club student participation, Fcic Institute certification and Daisy Foundation.

She works for  design skill development both nationally and at an international platform for children youths and women so that they can start their entrepreneur journey at an early stage and earn at the same time.
